A Conversation with the Cast of The Color Purple
Cast members from the The Color Purple participated in a well attended workshop at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center on April 7th. Renowned local jazz vocalist and Florida Memorial University professor, Nicole Yarling, moderated a panel discussion with cast members followed by a Q&A session where audience members had the opportunity to ask the actors about their experiences on and off stage. CBS4 reporter Sharrie Williams hosted this event, which was free and open to the community at large.
