SPRING SPECTACULAR AT
THE BROWARD CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

FORT LAUDERDALE – Students in advanced classes at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ Rose Miniaci Arts & Education Center present their Spring Spectacular in the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center on Monday, April 18 at 8:00 p.m.
The Broward Center Spotlights, a youth vocal ensemble for middle and high school students, will perform group and solo performances including some of Broadway's greatest hits and a few musical surprises. The Spotlights have made past appearances in popular local events, television and community showcases and onstage shows.
Advanced Musical Theater Workshop students, in grades 4-12, will offer a sneak peek from their upcoming production of Seussical Jr. Taught in small groups to strengthen techniques in singing, dancing and acting, students have been rehearsing the production which they will perform at the Broward Center May 11-12.
The Ultimate Theater Dance class, which explores traditional and contemporary Broadway dance styles, will showcase some of the best-loved Broadway choreography. Students have studied elements of ballet, jazz and modern dance during the class.
