UPDATE PERFORMANCE AND CLASS SCHEDULES AHEAD OF HURRICANE MILTON

Updates to the performance and class schedules at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and The Parker due to the weather-related impact of Hurricane Milton throughout Florida are as follows:

POSTPONED: The Taj Farrant performance, originally scheduled for Thursday, October 10 at the Broward Center, has been postponed. A new performance date will soon be announced and all previously purchased tickets will be valid in the same seat location. No action is required if you plan to attend. If you are unable to attend on the new performance date, you can request a refund after the new date is announced. Refunds must be requested by the original ticket buyer and will be refunded to the credit card used to make the original purchase from the Broward Center or Ticketmaster.

RESCHEDULED: The evening with David Sedaris, originally scheduled on Thursday, October 10 at The Parker, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 3. Previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new performance date on December 3, in your same seat location. No action is required if you plan to attend. If you are unable to attend the new performance, you can request a refund before November 4. Refunds must be requested by the original ticket buyer and will be refunded to the credit card used to make the original purchase from the Broward Center or Ticketmaster. RESCHEDULED: The El Gran Combo performance originally scheduled on Friday, October 11 at the Broward Center has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 1, 2024. Previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new performance date on December 1 in your same seat location. No action is required if you plan to attend. If you are unable to attend the new performance, you can request a refund before November 4, 2024. Refunds must be requested by the original ticket buyer and will be refunded to the credit card used to make the original purchase from the Broward Center or Ticketmaster. Login to your Ticketmaster account for more info on how to request a refund by email or chat. The safety of our audience, performers, and staff is our top priority, and given the anticipated difficulties in travel logistics, we believe this is the most responsible course of action.

RESCHEDULED - The Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band originally scheduled on Friday, October 11 at The Parker has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 15, 2024. RESCHEDULED: Pinky Patel, originally scheduled on Saturday, Oct 12 at Broward Center’s Abdo New River Room, has been rescheduled for Friday, December 20, 2024. Previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new performance date on December 20, in your same seat location. No action is required if you plan to attend. If you are unable to attend the new performance, you can request a refund before November 8. Refunds must be requested by the original ticket buyer and will be refunded to the credit card used to make the original purchase from the Broward Center or Ticketmaster. POSTPONED: The launch of this year’s Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS) for Broward County public school students with school-day performances on Wednesday and Thursday, October 9 and 10 has been postponed. The SEAS program will begin next week on Tuesday, October 15.

RESCHEDULED: Classes in the Rose Miniaci Arts Education Center are canceled on Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9. Registered students will receive an email from the Broward Center with the rescheduled date for each class.
