Young Professionals Enjoy an “Evening at the Casbah” During the Ghost Light Society’s 14th Annual Soirée Presented by UKG

Young philanthropists and emerging community and business leaders gathered at The Parker recently for the 14th Annual Ghost Light Society Soirée to benefit arts-in-education programs at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Presented by UKG, the “Evening at the Casbah” raised more than $110,000 in a one-of-a-kind, Moroccan-inspired night of dining and entertainment, including a live, intimate performance by Michael Glabicki and Dirk Miller of ‘90s band Rusted Root.

“The Ghost Light Society’s annual Soirée is always one of the highlights of the year, and this year’s theme combined with the live performance helped make this one of our most memorable yet,” said Soirée chair Jason B. Blank of Haber Blank LLP. “Thanks to our generous sponsors and the Soirée committee, we reached our fundraising goal and are proud to continue supporting arts-in-education at the Broward Center, which has the largest free arts-in-education program in the nation.”
