Dance NOW! Miami presents Program III Featuring Terra Mia/My Land

Dance NOW! culminates its 25th Anniversary Season with Program III featuring the world premiere of "Terra Mia - My Land." This exploration of DNM Director Diego Salterini’s roots is an invitation for audiences to immerse themselves in the beauty, passion, and resilience of Italian culture.

Danced to both traditional and contemporary Italian music, audiences will be entranced by the sights and sounds of Italy, with imagery recreating a vibrant atmosphere as we walk through Salterini’s nostalgic memories of his life and his family’s history. As an immigrant, Salterini shares his experiences of leaving his homeland and finding a new community in Miami, a place that he now calls home. Audiences will witness the intersection of different cultures and identities, and the message of acceptance. The evening will also include a celebration of Dance NOW!’s quarter century of creating and presenting contemporary dance with audience favorites from the company’s history.
