Douglas Murray, a British author and journalist, is known for his international bestseller, The War On The West. His previous book, The Madness of Crowds, was a bestseller and ‘book of the year’ for The Times and The Sunday Times. The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam was a Number 1 non-fiction bestseller and has been published in over 20 languages. Described as “the most compelling political book of the year” by The Evening Standard, it was praised by notable figures including Nick Cohen and Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. Murray has been a contributor to The Spectator since 2000 and its Associate Editor since 2012. He has also written for outlets like The Wall Street Journal and The NewYork Post. Born in 1979, Murray’s first book was published while he was an undergraduate at Oxford. He founded the Centre for Social Cohesion in 2007 and held a position at the Henry Jackson Society from 2011 to 2018. A prolific debater, Murray has spoken at the British and European Parliaments and the White House and appears regularly on major political debate programs and podcasts.
