Pablo returns for a monumental symphonic work, Shostakovich’s demonstration and portrayal of human resilience.
Symphony of the Americas' Side by Side music engagement program will be a special treat and part of the program for this performance of Shostakovich's Leningrad. Led by Artistic Director Pablo Mielgo and Concertmaster Scott Flavin, this program offers young musicians a unique blend of formal instruction and hands-on symphonic performance. Students will be paired with Symphony members, rehearsing and performing alongside them, gaining invaluable exposure to professional orchestral music.
