Young Professionals Auditions

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AUDITIONS

Young Performers will experience an opportunity to perform for the public in this year's musical adaptation of Peter Pan, taking young children, families, and summer camp audiences on an adventure through Neverland. This program offers more advanced techniques to campers who learn on a pre-professional level.

PETER PAN

Go on a high flying journey as J.M. Barrie's classic tale comes to life live on stage. Join the infamous boy who never grew up and the three Darling children as they travel through Neverland with Tinkerbell and the lost boys, dodging Captain Hook and his band of pirates along the way. This musical adventure is sure to capture the hearts of children and the young at heart alike.  

 

Camp Locations

Broward Center for the Performing Arts & Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern University

GRADES: 9 - 12

Camp Dates

Broward Center: June 11 - July 5, 2024*
Miniaci PAC at NSU: June 17 - July 12, 2024**

*Official camp end date is July 5th. Please note however that Young Professional Program participants will be required to perform in additional shows on July 6th. 
** Official camp end date is July 12th. Please note however that Young Professional Program participants will be required to perform in additional shows on July 13th. 

Requirements

  • Must participate in the full 7 hour day, four-week program
  • Must be present for any additional tech/flying rehearsals
  • Must audition for acceptance
  • Must be at least a rising 8th grader

Video Submission

Email your video to NinaFeliceTPP@gmail.com. Include your full name, age, and the venue you are applying to (Broward Center or Nova Southeastern). 
 

INCLUDE:

  • Monologue: 1 minute
  • Singing: 1 minute of a show tune (sung to a track or piano accompaniment music).
  • NO VOCALS. Use only the camera mic and not a handheld microphone. 

SEND VIDEO IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING FORMATS:

  • YouTube link/URL
  • Google Drive link/URL
  • A digital video file in either .mp4, .mp3, .MOV or .WMV format

SUBMISSION DATES:

  • March 18* (Results provided March 22)
  • April 15 (Results provided April 19)
  • May 13 (Results provided May 17)
  • June 4 (Results provided on a rolling basis 48 hours after submission)

*This date quailfies for the early bird discount.
